Rajasthan Judicial Service Examination 2024: Education Eligibility
- candidate must have Bachelor of Laws degree from any govt recognised university.
- candidate must possess a thorough knowledge of Hindi and Written in Devnagri script and Rajasthani dialects and rajasthani dialect and social customs of Rajasthan
- Person who has appeared or is appearing in final year or semester of LLB shall be eligible to apply for the post. such candidates have to acquire the requisite educational qualification before the mains examination and proof thereof has to be submitted to the office of registrar examination Rajasthan High Court jodhpur within 7 days of holding of mains examination.

Age criteria for Rajasthan judicial service Examination 2024 as on 01/01/2025
- Minimum age- 21 year
- Maximum age-40 years
- Age relaxation- the upper age limit mention above is relaxable by 5 year for schedule cast, schedule tribe, other backward classes , more backward classes , economically weaker section and women candidates
- the upper age limit shall be relaxed by 5 year in case of persons with benchmark disabilities. Such age relaxation shall be in addition to age relaxation already providers to different categories in Rajasthan judicial service rules 2010

Rajasthan judicial service examination 2024- Examination pattern and Detailed syllabus
- Rajasthan judicial service examination 2024 to be conducted best upon the old examination pattern as mentioned in the official notification
- The competitive examination for the recruitment to the post of civil judge she’ll be conducted in 2 stages- preliminary examination and Mains examination. The marks obtained in the preliminary examination by the candidates who are declared qualified for admission to mains examination shall not be counted for determining final merit.
- The number of candidates to be admitted to mains examination will be 15 times the total number of vacancies category wise. But in the same range all those candidates who score the same percentage of marks on last cut off will be admitted to the mains examination.
- Note-
- To qualify for mains examination candidate belonging to schedule cast and schedule tribe category and the person with benchmark disability shall have to score minimum 40% marks in preliminary examination.
- To qualify for mains examination the candidates of all other categories shall have to score 45% minimum marks in preliminary examination.
- The number of candidates to be admitted to the interview shall be as far as practicable 3 time to the total number of vacancies category wise. Provided that to qualify for interview a candidate shall have to score a minimum of 35% marks in each of the low papers and 45% marks in aggregate in mains examination.
- Provided further that a candidate belonging to schedule cast and schedule tribe category and person with benchmark disability shall be deemed to be eligible for interview if he or she has obtained minimum of 30% marks in each of law papers and 35% marks in aggregate in mains examination.
- It shall be compulsory to appear in each and every paper of written test and before the interview board for Viva voca. A candidate who has failed to appear in any of the written paper or before the bored for interview shall note be recommended for appointment.
- The Examination scheme for recruitment to the cadre of civil judge shall consist of 3 stage which include preliminary examination- objective type, mains examination- subjective type, interview.
- Preliminary examination- the preliminary examination shall be an objective type examination in which 70% weightage she’ll be given to the subjects prescribed in the syllabus for law paper-01 and lAw paper-02 and 30% weightage shall be given to test proficiency in Hindi and English language.
- The maximum marks for preliminary examination the salary 100 in which number of questions to be asked shall be 100 and there shall be no negative marking for wrong answer in preliminary examination.
- Duration of preliminary examination shall be 2 hours. The marks of obtained in the preliminary examination shall not be counted for determining final merit list.

- Interview- To interview a candidate, the suitability for employment to the service shall be tested with reference to his record at school, college and university and his character, personality, address and physique.
- The questions which may be put to him or her may be of general nature and will not necessarily be academic or legal. The candidate will also be put question to test his general knowledge including knowledge of current affair and present day problems.
- The marks shall also be awarded for candidates proficiency in the Rajasthani dialects and his knowledge of social customer of Rajasthan. The marks awarded shall be added to marks obtained in the written test by its candidate.
- List of candidates- after interview a list of the candidates salary prepared in order of their performance on the basis of their aggregate marks. If 2 or more of such candidate obtained equal marks in the aggregate they shall be arranged in the Order of Merit on the basis of their general suitability for service and their names shall be recommended for appointment accordingly.
- Provided that a candidate of saddle cost or schedule tribe and person with benchmark disability category sell not be recommended for appointment unless he obtained minimum 35% marks in aggregate of written examination and interview and in case of other candidates unless he obtained minimum 40% marks in the aggregate of written examination and interview.
- Note- The general suitability for service of the candidates scoring equal aggregate marks in the mains examination and interview shall firstly be determined on the basis of higher marks obtained in interview and in case the candidate should equal marks even in interview the merits and be determined having regards to age of candidate, older is sell be given higher place in merit.
